Simple Hamburger Recipes

Simple hamburger recipes are quick to make and cheap. What a combination.

I always buy 6 or 8 pounds of hamburger when grocery shopping. I'll bring it home and divide it up into 4 or 5 meals and freeze what we are not eating in the next day or 2.

It's so easy to come home from work and grab some hamburger and a simple hamburger recipe and whip up a meal in a short period of time.

Hamburger casseroles are always a treat. If you buy some Bisquick and keep it on hand, you will see recipes on the box or at Bisquick Simple Hamburger Recipes. The cheeseburger pie is delicious.

I make a quick hamburger pie by simply browning hamburger and draining it and then adding it to 2 cans of tomato soup with a can of drained peas. A layer of mashed potatoes on top and it goes in the oven at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. My grandson's favorite.

Make up your own simple hamburger recipe. A little imagination with hamburger and leftovers goes a long way.

Mix hamburger with tomato sauce and macaroni noodles and you have your own beefaroni.

Or take the hamburger and make it into thin patties. Lay down a patty and put some cheese on it and then put on a second patty. Crimp the edges and you have a cheeseburger with the cheese oozing out from the inside.

I make my own homemade spaghetti sauce which I think is much tastier than store bought. I've also used frozen hamburger patties to make a swiss steak. I'm getting hungry writing this.

Whether you are on a budget or not, always have ground beef on hand to whip up a delicious meal in no time.

Diabetic Corner

My wife was a diabetic for over 40 years until she received a pancreas transplant recently. Healthy food has always been something we strived for and, of course, our menu had to be planned around her needs.
