Alcoholic Drink Recipes

Alcoholic drink recipes offer you a chance to give yourself and/or your guests unique mixed drinks. I mean scotch and soda - not a hard drink to make. That's not what we are going to be looking for as we add alcoholic drink recipes to this site. Please feel free to add your own as well. There is a Add Your Recipe link on the left to allow you to easily do so.

Incredible Hulk Drink Recipe

Simply add equal parts (2 fl oz of each) of the fruit liqueur Hpnotiq and Hennessy brand cognac poured over ice.

Easy to make and a eye catching green color.

Paradise

Mix gin and brandy. Easy, huh?

Manhattan

Ingredients for this popular alcoholic drink are whiskey, sweet vermouth, and bitters.

The proportions of whiskey to vermouth vary according to your taste, from a very sweet 1:1 ratio to a much drier 4:1 ratio. The cocktail is often stirred with ice and strained into a cocktail glass, then garnished with a Maraschino cherry with a stem.[1][2]. A Manhattan is also frequently served on the rocks in an old-fashioned lowball glass

Whiskey Sour

The whiskey sour is a well known and popular mixed drink.

Ingredients are bourbon whiskey, lemon juice, Gomme syrup

3 parts Bourbon whiskey, 2 parts lemon juice, 1 part Gomme syrup, and, if desired, a dash of egg white to make it a Boston Sour.

You shake it and served either straight or over ice, in a glass filled with ice. The traditional garnish is half an orange slice and a maraschino cherry.

More to come but please, drink responsibly!

Diabetic Corner

My wife was a diabetic for over 40 years until she received a pancreas transplant recently. Healthy food has always been something we strived for and, of course, our menu had to be planned around her needs.
